Publication of the new carbon dioxide elimination report for CAC 40 companies

AFEN is delighted to announce the publication of our latest report on climate action by CAC 40 companies in France, in partnership with ClimateHQ. The report highlights key trends and data on companies' sustainability efforts, with a particular focus on carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and emissions reduction.

Key findings of the report :

  • Only 1 company (Airbus) has purchased a durable carbon removal credits, although 9 others mention CDR in their reports.
  • More 50 % of companies have implemented an internal carbon price, with a maximum at 200 euros per tonne.
  • 38 of 40 companies have invested in voluntary carbon markets, with projects covering several sectors, including renewable energies and forestry.
