AFEN IS ORGANIZING the 2025 Carbon Elimination Conference​October 14 & 15, 2025 – Paris Following the success of the 2024 event, AFEN is bringing together key players in carbon removal for two days of strategic discussions. This event brings together public institutions, major corporations, investors, researchers, and startups around a shared goal: to accelerate the deployment of CDR solutions in France.

The scientific consensus is now unequivocal: stabilizing the climate requires halting the rise in atmospheric CO2 concentrations as quickly as possible. This means, first and foremost, drastically reducing carbon emissions, but that alone will not be enough to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement: we will also need to remove several billion metric tons of CO2 from the atmosphere, particularly because certain activities cannot be fully decarbonized, but also to limit how much we exceed the carbon budget. Achieving this is a colossal challenge. Is there an ideal technology—one that is risk-free and has high potential—or should we rely on a diversified portfolio of solutions? What is the economic potential, and are there sovereignty issues at stake? What is France’s potential, and what are its strengths?

PRODURABLE 2025: The 18th Edition, Focused on «Legacies» « On October 8 and 9, 2025, the Palais des Congrès in Paris will host the 18th edition of PRODURABLE, the premier event for stakeholders in the sustainable economy. Centered on the theme »Legacies: Protect, Restore, Pass On,” this new edition takes place against a backdrop where the ecological, economic, and social transition requires us to collectively rethink what we wish to pass on to future generations: resources, expertise, values, as well as sustainable and resilient models. PRODURABLE 2025 will bring together more than 15,000 visitors, 340 partners, and 750 speakers, and will feature nearly 300 workshops and roundtables, as well as numerous highlights. The exhibition will be organized around three thematic villages (Environment, Social & HR, Strategy & Governance) and dedicated pavilions (including Bpifrance’s), with itineraries designed to support all types of organizations.
